CLASS LEADING POWER DENSITY FROM 240W POWER SUPPLY

Power supply with electric bolts in backgroundFiDUS Power announces the expansion of its portfolio of high power density open frame power supplies with the introduction of the IT and Medically approved AKM240 series.

This series can deliver a market leading 160W convection cooled and 240W fan cooled in a 2x4’’ package, giving power densities of 26W/In3, making it ideal for applications where space is at a premium, but you need to deliver a punch!

With efficiencies up to 94%, waste heat is kept to a minimum simplifying system design and maximizing lifetime. The series can be installed in Class I or II systems and has a wide operating temperature of -30 to +70 degrees making it useful in a wide range of applications.

Models are available with outputs from 12 to 48V in open frame, U-Channel and fan cooled mechanical versions, giving you flexibility in the mechanical and thermal design choices you make. The unit can operate in high altitude to 5000M and has BF rated output isolation with a built-in fan output should you require it.

The units meet EN55032 Level B conducted and radiated EMC and IEC60601-1-2 4th edition immunity standards. The series is fully approved to the latest applicable worldwide IT and Medical safety standards and is backed by a FiDUS 5 year warranty.
